Daniel and Mike's Entrepreneurial and EO Journey
Our journey started in 2009 in Lima, Peru, where a simple friendship led to the birth of Zipdev. Daniel was a recruiter, and Mike was running an English teaching business. When Mike needed help finding developers in Latin America for a mobile app, Daniel stepped in. The success of this collaboration sparked an idea: why not help other entrepreneurs access the region's top talent?
In 2015, we founded Zipdev to connect businesses with skilled remote professionals from Latin America. Like many entrepreneurs, we've experienced the highs and lows of running a business. Trust and respect have always been central to our partnership, and our thirst for learning led us to join the EO Accelerator in 2018, which was pivotal in our growth. By 2020, we became full EO members and have since been active in EO San Diego, serving on the board in various roles.
Today, our mission is clear: to share our entrepreneurial superpower—helping fellow entrepreneurs grow by tapping into Latin America's top remote talent.
